For a brief moment, it almost sounds logical.
Ansa shuts it down with one line: Anas couldn't even protect himself from his own uncle and cousin — how is he supposed to protect her? She thanks the grandfather for his sincerity, acknowledges it came from love, and still says no. Marriages don't happen in hospital corridors out of desperation. Then, in a burst of panic, she pulls the IV from her own arm — injuring herself further — before Anas physically stops her and quietly tends to the wound himself.
